Biathlon training last night. It was good to get onto the range again and test my ability to put all the buzz and noise from my mind aside, really focus and hit the target. It feels great when it happens and is really frustrating when it doesn't happen. Then you add skiing into the mix, elevate your heart rate and try to focus in... a true test of focus.
This is my friend Julia in the first session of biathlon.  A great set of skills to develop.

Year of the snake, a good year for my husband Jeremy, one more for me to be lucky.  His dad turned 70 the other day.  Wow, I bet that decade of life would be a cool one to live through.  You've done so much already at that point in your life, and if you're still capable, the fun would just continue I imagen.  At least I hope so when I'm that age.  If something tragic doesn't happen to me, I'm sure I'm going to live that long.  Many of the women in my family have lived well into their 90's and some even reached 100, so there's longevity in my genes.  Now I just have to maintain the shell to keep myself ready for that life stage.  Maintain the shell to maintain independence and adventure in later life.

2050 is the decade I'll be entering my 70's.  What will the world look like then??? I hope I'll still be able to do this then.
